Tony Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Hello,I?ve been looking online trying to find the whereabouts of the 1st Bavarian AK, 2 Div.,15th Bavarian Inf. Regiment, 10th Company, No. 2 platoon in about the middle of September 1915, but can?t find anything.I believe they were on the Somme and would like to know if they were facing the French or newly arrived British. The soldier in question was killed by a trench mortar after the 4th Sept. (last letter home) and before 17th September. Can any of you help me out here?Tony

They were indeed on the Somme, at a rough glance between Dompiere and maricourt for most of 1915, then in mid october by Neuville-Souchez.I must see if something more is to be found.
