sftrooper86 Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Hello Gentlemen,I hope this short note finds everyone well and enjoying this Holiday season. I need some help with this maker's mark as found on a WW2 German Luftwaffe model 2 dagger. Is this one of the "accepted" makers marks found on "Puma" made pieces from the war years.Thank you in advance and Happy Holidays!Vince
J Temple-West Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Is this one of the "accepted" makers marks found on "Puma" made pieces from the war years.Yes it is, Vince. As a point of interest, here's an alternative 'Puma' mark found mainly on Bayonets. As can be seen, the word 'PUMA' is slightly larger.
