Kriegsmarine U-1163

Dear all,

i got an interesting photo album which describes the duty of a KM soldier who also

was a crew member of U-1163. In this album there is also a picture of a soldier

with the german cross. Does anyone recognize this german cross holder of U-1163

This is OBtsMt. Franz Br?ckner (*17.02.1916 Bruchsal) who served on U-380 before. A report of the trials of U-1163 with socalled Schleppbeh?lter written by the former I WO Valentin Probst shows a photo of him too, but here his rank is given as OStrm.
