webr55
Any ideas what award this single pre-1914 medal/ribbon bar might have been for? Brunswick? Chris Edited November 11, 2017 by webr55

Guest Rick Research
Probably some sort of Kriegerverein award?
landsknechte
I've seen a similar ribbon, being used on a regimental commemorative (don't remember the regiment though). Instead of the blue and yellow outer stripes, it had very narrow white stripes with a black stripes about twice as wide on the outside.
landsknechte
Found a photo of the vaguely similar ribbon I referred to earlier.

landsknechte
Wish I could come closer, but I can definately say that it has the "look" of a vet's decoration ribbon.
