    Could be OK but its not the normal Souval setup. There would normally be a raised rectangular positioning mark visibleat the top of the badge ( into which the hinge is set), and the retaining hook would usually be on a small disc.

    Many thanks for your advice .

    As to the Souval UBoor badges , marked with round letters , I have come across two types.

    a- the plaque of the hinge seems soldered on a lock slot machined on the badge. The catch has a round base. Almost always there is an excess of soldering .

    b- the plaque seems to be soldered to the badge directly ; the trimming is unfinished , it shows some flashes.

    Probably it risults in the deterioration of the processing during the wartime
