e-militaria
Looks like very late war, stamped non-magnetic sheet metal with 3 tabs, 29 x 30 mm, no maker marks, looks good but not sure. Let me know what you think.

e-militaria
Thank you Robin for the quick response! I got that item about 20 yrs ago in a lot purchase for a really cheap price and I was always leery about it.
Jock Auld
Robin, Is there anything similar to this setup that is of the period? I noticed on WAF recently something very close to that was passed as correct and is now accepted as late war? Sorry its an old thread but thanfully the pictures are still here. Cheers Jock
Robin Lumsden
Hello Jock. Panzer collar tabs could have three prongs.
Jock Auld
Robin, Thanks for that, the skull was supposed to be a SS cap skull. I will try and locate the thread and manualy copy the link as I can't post links. I don't suppose you have any of the old shots from the catalouge? Robin Lumsden
Hello Jock. I do have Delta catalogue pix somewhere .................. but I can't find them !!!!
Jock Auld
Well if you find it Robin you maybe able to dispell the myth. I was wondering and did ask on WAF who it was that stated and prooved these type to be correct. No doubt the product of a book or the judgement of an expert? I think a better book would be to reprint all of the 'replicas' catalouges that can be found. Some of these old copies are looking their age and fool a lot of the newer colectors now.
