SS Skull with three tabs

Looks like very late war, stamped non-magnetic sheet metal with 3 tabs, 29 x 30 mm, no maker marks, looks good but not sure. Let me know what you think.

Is there anything similar to this setup that is of the period?

I noticed on WAF recently something very close to that was passed as correct and is now accepted as late war?

Thanks for that, the skull was supposed to be a SS cap skull.

I will try and locate the thread and manualy copy the link as I can't post links.

Well if you find it Robin you maybe able to dispell the myth. I was wondering and did ask on WAF who it was that stated and prooved these type to be correct. No doubt the product of a book or the judgement of an expert? I think a better book would be to reprint all of the 'replicas' catalouges that can be found. Some of these old copies are looking their age and fool a lot of the newer colectors now.
