Hi Chaps!

I'm trying to find out some info on the blc ARG-1 (pic below), which was used on U-boats for navigation.

Of the ones that I have seen (that supposedly came from operational U-boats), they have lacked a KM 'M' stamp or issue number. Instead they have had a Luftwaffe code (usually on the case). What I'm trying to find out is, was the ARG-1 specifically issued to the Kriegsmarine, or were they actually Luftwaffe instruments that were 'adopted' by the U-boat Arm?

I'm currently on the hunt for one of these, but I don't want to spend a lifetime looking for an 'M' stamped version if they didn't actually exist! :banger:
