J Temple-West Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 Just received these pix from a collector who has asked for some opinions..I've sent him the link to the site and hopefully he'll fill us in on the story behind the piece.
Gordon Williamson Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 Unfortunately, this doesn't look like an original Juncker Lazy 2. The "trademark" of the Juncker cross is the "cross-hatch" to the beading lines on the inner corners next to the swastika.Compare with this original.
Gordon Williamson Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 The original Junker "eye" for the suspension loop also has a distinctive shape.
Gordon Williamson Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 Original reverse date. Distinctly different "3" to the one in the thread.
Gordon Williamson Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 Original obverse date. Again the "3" shows the most distinct differences. to the one in the thread.
