Glenn J Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Today I received in the post a copy of the extremely rare January 1911 Prussian reserve and Landwehr officers' list. As a bonus I found inside the front cover the invoice or Rechnung to its original owner who bought it nearly a 100 years ago! Leutnant der Reserve Paul Ferdinand Peddinghaus, a factory owner in Barmen, later Hagen was a reserve officer in Husaren-Regiment Nr. 17. He was commissioned on the 18.10.02. Promoted to Oberleutnant der Reserve on 18.11.11 he presumably rose to the rank of Rittmeister der Reserve during the war (sometime after May 1916). He survived the war. Incidentally he paid considerably less for it than I did. RegardsGlenn
