Intersting item from the household of Prinz Heinrich, brother to the German emperor

I thought I?d share with you an interesting item I recently acquired. It came from the household of Prinz Heinrich, and resembles an imperial admiral?s interim baton in every respect (including the case), safe for the gold embossements.

The pics showing the Prinz Heinrich interim baton come from the H?sken book.

I have received some recent info on the embossments that I intend to investigate further, which may help clarify what we?re looking at.
