    Hello :jumping:

I have had this shoulder patch for many years. I believe that it might be british. I don't know much about these patches, so I wondered if anyone could help me identify this one, and how old it could be. If you have any information, I would be grateful.

    Hi,

Your formation sign is that of the British 61st Infantry Division.

    Regards

    Arthur

    Hello Arthur :jumping:

Thank you very much, for the information. Do you know from which period it might be?

61st Div was the second line division to the Territorial Armys 48th (South Midland) Division, & was part of the Home Forces based in the UK, through WWII.

Forgot to say - 48th Div's insignia was the same as this but the diamond was on an oval instead of a rectangle & a macaw was superimposed on the diamond.
