BURGERHAUS Posted May 5, 2007 Posted May 5, 2007 Gents I was looking over my party pins today and found a curiosity with the M marks on my Ferdinand Wagners. Take a look and tell me what you think. The M on one of them has a visible tilt to it. have a nice weekend. Robert
Scowen Posted May 5, 2007 Posted May 5, 2007 From what I've seen there seems to be quite a few variations available with the M1/8 badges, there's also a version without the dash - between the L & S as well. They all appear to be accepted by collectors....Thanks for showing them Robert.CheersDon
JNoble Posted May 5, 2007 Posted May 5, 2007 Robert,Nice badges you have there. Don's right Wagner used more then one die-set while making his party badges and each one was a little different.
BURGERHAUS Posted May 6, 2007 Author Posted May 6, 2007 I would suspect they were producing these as fast as they could when membership soared. Is there any data at all available with regards to the volume of examples produced for this or any maker? Thanks for looking. Robert
