Can you help me identifying this Panzer IV

on the back is written in German: German Panzer IV attacks, Russia

    PzIV1.jpg

    front: File0078-1.jpg

I enlarged the image and it looks like the tactical sign of the 10.PzDiv on the side: Ylll

am I right in the assumption that this tank belonged to the commander of the 4.Kompanie, 10.PzDiv ?

    Any help is appreciated

    Regards, Hardy

    Thanks Laurence,

I did some research, and it is my understanding that:

4 stands for the Kompanie, 1 for the Zug (platoon) and the last 1 for the first tank in the Zug.

That would mean the tank 411 Ylll, belonged to Leutnant Radmann the Zugf?hrer of the first Patoon 4. Kompanie Panzer Regiment 7, 10. Panzerdivision
