Any help is appreciatedRegards, Hardy Edited May 23, 2007 by Naxos
Laurence Strong Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 That would be correct. The Y with the 3 I's was used till sometime in 1943.
Naxos Posted May 24, 2007 Author Posted May 24, 2007 Thanks Laurence,I did some research, and it is my understanding that: 4 stands for the Kompanie, 1 for the Zug (platoon) and the last 1 for the first tank in the Zug.That would mean the tank 411 Ylll, belonged to Leutnant Radmann the Zugf?hrer of the first Patoon 4. Kompanie Panzer Regiment 7, 10. Panzerdivision
Naxos Posted May 24, 2007 Author Posted May 24, 2007 from: Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgr?berf?rsorge e.V.: Oberleutnant Herbert Radmann, born: 30.09.1912 in Berlin died on January 18th 1942 at the Field Hospital 61 in Gshatsk.Radmann was a veteran of the Polish and French campaigns
