Roeland Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 (edited) Although the medals itself aren't visable, does anybody have an idea what order these men are wearing, they are the Senate of the Cadets from the Royal military academy.is it a Dutch order, or a special medal only carried by the senate perhaps?the picture is from 1952thanks for any help Edited June 28, 2007 by Roeland
Jacky Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 (edited) It's not an order nor a commander's cross. It's very usual for senates/councils of student associates to wear a badge as a sign that they are representing their association. On the site of the KMA are several pictures of the council's, all of them wearing a badge.e.g. All the members of the council are wearing a badge, the one without is the Chef du Protocol. From your picture, I can clearly see that all of them are wearing 2 chevrons, thus all in their second year with the rank of Corporal-Cadet (Korporaal Adelborst).Kind regards,Jacky Edited June 28, 2007 by Jacky
