Very nice cased engraved Bronze Star.

SF-180 form will give you his partial records from St. Louis, which include other decoration/campaign medals won during the war. I'm sure you're aware of this, but if not I can give you the link to the form.

Hi Robert, I believe I looked at this option before, but many on the forum (WAF or here I cant remember), that being Canadian requesting US service records maybe cause some problems. Not sure but that discouraged me.
