naoki matsumoto Posted July 25, 2007 Author Posted July 25, 2007 Naoki, very nice, but as every one will say to you that you can never be sure when it was engraved ,have you tried to research the names?Good morning.Thank you for your mail!! I am disappointed. I am a Japanese. There are not the meaning of this sculpture and means to examine what I sculptd it. I bought it from an overseas famous dealer. I love a purely silver item of WW1/ WW2. I love a product made in pure silver of Spanienkreuz else. I put this on the GMIC homepage. Do you collect the decorations of what kind of kind elsewhere?
Mike K Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Hi Naoki,You have three very nice engraved EK1s. Personally, I have no doubt that all 3 engravings are period (ie, WW1 or soon after). Could you please show a picture of the reverse of the 950 cross in Post#3 with the pin down / closed? Although the catch is a definite replacement, I have a suspicion this may be a very hard to find FLAT-backed Meybauer.RegardsMike
