Glenn J Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Picked up this rather rare publication the other day. I had not seen a copy prior to this.Rangliste der Offiziere, ?rzte, Veterin?re und etatsm??igen Beamten sowie Liste der Offizier-, Arzt- und Veterin?r-Anw?rter der Landespolizei Bayerns. Published with effect 10 November 1934 by the Inspectorate of uniformed State Police in the State Ministry of the Interior. Shown below is the first page showing the more senior officers.RegardsGlenn
Guest Rick Research Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Ooooooooooooooooooo. I haven't seen any since the late 1970s. My intended graduate school guru Harold Gordon had many of them from the 1920s on microfilm-- I used them in my senior honors thesis on the 1923 Beer Hall Putsch. Apparently they came out every year like the Reichswehr ones.I have never heard of any others "out there" since. Great find!!! I didn't realize Hugo Kiehl had made it to the number two spot then--ribbon bar as Generalmajor zV and P.O.W. camps commandant/inspector (last assignment in Norway... far, far from the Suez Canal!).
