DDR Early Type DDR hats

Gents,

I don't remember seeing a thread devoted to authentic early DDR hats. By early I mean 50s early 60s with embroidered insignia. I'll start the thread with a 1963 dated Luftstreitkraft hat. Some features of this cap and others of the same era are;

1-embroidered stylized wings and wreath on the cap band with a metal cockade;

2-embroidered propeller and wheat sheaves above the cap band machine sewn into place (this emblem is not used on Luftverteidigung caps);

3-painted fibre visor;

4-early style cap cord;

5-pronounced "saddle" shape;

6-leather sweat band.
