Sons of a canteen host of the navy

This may be a little "Off Topic", but nonetheless interesting.

For several years I have this postcard

Two weeks ago, on german Ebay, I found the album of one of these boys. I recognized the relationship between the album and the postcard and did my best to get it. --- Got it.

The album is not really a photo album but with pages to fill in just everything about the child. These kind of albums are even today quite popular.

This is the album of Eugen Martin May, born 15th march 1928.

He was born in the Navy Hospital Kiel.

His father at that time was a NCO in the Reichswehr navy

Later, his father became the host of the canteen in the Navy barracks in Kiel
