Imperial German Fighting Knife

Gentlemen,

Happy to report I just conducted a deal with a friend of mine in which I'm the new proud owner of this Imperial German Fighting Knife. It's the only one I've seen in mint/unissued condition. This is my first Imperial edged weapon and not the last thats for sure. It's probably my last bigger purchase till my Wife and I get settled in our first home home which we just bought. Oh yes, I'll have my "War Room" after all. LOL!

Hi Joel,

A very nice find indeed. Many years ago I had several different Imperial German fighting knives in my collection. This was "back in the day", as they say, when prices were still quite reasonable for such knives. Even back then a mint example was rare. I sold off that collection and have regretted it ever since. What a great start to any future additions to this collection!

Thank you for your kind words. I'm definately intrigued and want to collect more edged weapons from this period thats for sure. Got real lucky on finding one in this condition.
