Chris Boonzaier Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Walter Hoffmann was an NCO in the Bavarian 2. Chevauleger regiment in WW1. Was a Kommiss?er in N?rnberg-F?rth in 1934 (according to his HK doc.Any slight chance that anyone has anything on him?ThanksChris
Guest Rick Research Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Does it actually say SchuPo Kommissar? That's an odd rank normally used by the detective force (KriPo) or administrative types rather than the "green" police. It also varied wildly in actual "rank" meant by it and I've never seen any breakdown of what PRECISELY that rank meant, when.
Chris Boonzaier Posted August 30, 2007 Author Posted August 30, 2007 Yup indeed, of the Schupo.BestChris
