original neck cross from hessen?

I came across this medal which I'm interested in.

The seller claimes it to be the Grand cross of the house order from Hessen.

is that correct and is it an original?

I think this is the "Order of the Golden Lion" (Hesse-Kassel)/"Hausorden vom Goldenen L?wen" (Hessen-Kassel).
