Ulsterman's "Impossible" Saxon SA4X/ SMK Photo

I know this has been posted someplace in another Meiningen related thread, but can I find it? Nooo.

So here it is again:

Appears to be wearing OBERleutnant boards for a unit "243." Medal bar is the Merit Cross X of the Saxon Albert Order (SA4X), Prussian EK2, Saxe-Meiningen War Honor Cross (SMK) and Saxon XV Years army service cross.

An SA4X should go to a Feldwebel-Leutnant, while the SMK should go to commissioned officers.

Well, most of the time.

Today I finally went through all the SA4Xs and compared them against the SMK roll done by me.

Not a specific match, but down to ONLY these "suspects" and nobody else. Obviously our Nameless Portrait Person changed units after his last of the two awards. But there are no other possible recipients of BOTH only the SA4X and SMK.

There are EIGHT suspects who had BOTH the SA4X (out of 1,389) and the SMK (out of 3,950, of which 537 were to Saxons) =

SMK as the same 14.5.18, ?Postassistent aus Frankenhausen Kyffh?user?

No civil occupation on SMK entry, so perhaps he was a career NCO and thus the best suspect for this photo?

8) Zeidler, Paul

SMK as Feldwebel Leutnant dL II in 16./IV./ LIR 133 on 19.12.16

No civil occupation, but the SMK entry calls him ?der Landwehr II.?

As a remote 9th possibility, a Karl Lindner matches on the name and rank (FdlLt) but NOT on both units (Heun's name appears to be unique despite the unit discrepancy).
