Bryan
I have no idea from which period, but looking at the configuration I would say 70's - 80's. Interesting Bravery in fire medal.
SasaYU
This is a firefighter's medal issued in Socialist Republic of Croatia (republic in Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia), probably issued pre 1991 (but I'm not shure).Text on AV: "VSH" (Vatrogasni savez Hrvatske - Firefighters Union of Croatia) "Za hrabrost i pozrtvovnost" (For bravery and devotion)Text on RV: "Vatrogasna plamenica" (Firefaighter's flare) "Vatrogasni savez opcine" (Communal Firefighters Union)

sebastian
You are welcome.Do you know this medal is in 1 class or?Sorry, but firemen decorations are not field of my interest, so I can't tell you nothing about its class. I will try to find out if there are any information of this decoration in literature I have and if I will find something I will tell you.Best regards
sebastian
Hi Anatoly, unfortunately I didn't managed to find any information about your decoration in my literature. But on an internet site: http://www.bolha.com/index.php/ukaz/image/...2543834/slika/0 I found this picture of another decoration:As we can see this decoration has golden rays while yours has silver. From this point of view is my opinion, that your decoration is 2nd class. It is common for yugoslavian decorations that gold indicates 1st class, silver 2nd class and bronze 3 class. For example order of republic with golden, silver and bronze wreath or order of partisan star with golden and silver wreath. But this is just my opinion, let's wait what will tell us collectors of firemen decorations.
