greg koepp Posted December 17, 2007 Author Posted December 17, 2007 well I have been searching around in my books and found in one of Little Johns books, the same yoke and arrows made the same without the Eagle in the middle, BUT then I found a photo in the same book of a German and Spanish meeting in the Spanish Embassy and on the back wall is the same Eagle with ribbons and Crest on it's chest. Pretty neat seeing it in a photo, if you have the book you can see yourself, so the Eagle mounted in the middle of the Yoke is correct but why they did it I have no idea? Could be the Spanish Crest? I'm not into Spanish stuff much so others could say?thanks gregOH IF YOU WANT ME TO PHOTO IT I WILL.
hipnos Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Thanks, but the yoke-arrows Pin I have photos in one of my books of the same, the Eagle on it I have no problems with as I have shown to a couple Spanish collectors who said it was ok. But the cross on the ribbon, I don't know yet, but will send photos to more Spanish collectors to see. The cross itself is made correct, but for what I don't know yet??thanks for the info.gregThe Military crossCampaign medal (Upraising medal)Russia?s voluntary medal (Blue division)The cross on the ribbon looks like an Asturian cross, (look at the Asturian Flag) so a memento of the Asturian Nationalist (Pro -Franco, I mean)Observer wingsAn Falange Yoke and arrows with imperial eagle on it, a tinnie from Franco?s era... I send you an Asturian Flag and the cross alone...(Visigothic one...)
