webr55
While memorials for 1870/71 and WW1/WW2 are very common in Germany, there are not that many for China or DSWA. During a recent trip to Münster, I took these pics of memorials for fallen soldiers of the Westfäl. Train-Bat. 7. First one is for Trainsoldat Karl Adami, 2. Komp. Notice the stone China medal. webr55
Second one is for Sergeant Gustav Durchholz, 3. Komp., and Gefreiter Otto Chemnitz, 3. Komp., both KIA in DSWA. Notice both sides of the DSWA medal on the bottom left. Have we got anything in the China or DSWA documentation about them?
