Nick Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 Anyone got any info on the new MP7 sub machine gun/pistol made by Heckler & Koch ?
John Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 The MP7 is a new weapon still in the design and evaluation stages. It is shaped like the Uzi, with the magazine housing incorporated into the pistol grip. It is about two thirds the length of an MP5 and about half the weight. It is a 4.6mm weapon, and by the looks of it, has been principally developed for defeating body armour by using steel rounds , like the Soviet Gyurza pistol. It comes with 20 or 40 round magazines and is supposedly accuarate to 200m. wub.gif
Barney Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 If it is anything like the MP5 it is a smashing piece of kit! Best buy the Government ever made.Almost as good as the SMLE .303 MKIIIBarney
John Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 I think the most smashing piece of kit is the SA80. Everyone should have it
JensF. Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 (edited) The MP7 is in service of the Bundeswehr for over one year now. I had it in my hands once but never shot it.Here you can find more informations about it: http://www.heckler-koch.deLook under "Products" and "Sub Machineguns" in the english version.
