Well,no iron cross today...but a nice Landwehr Dienstauszeichnung 1st class.It looks like it's an early one(marked with "JG&S" and "900".Hope you like it.

I've never noticed one marked-- but then the ones I have and have had were mounted in groups, tied down snugly.

That's a typical 19th century ribbon mounting, with the awful, raggedy "raw" unfinished back common into the 1890s.
