Les
I've been able to determine that the man's name was "Gommelt" or something like that. He appears in many photos of the GdC on parade. Does anyone have more information on him other than his last name?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.Les
Guest Rick Research
Did you know there was a MUSICIANS Rank List? Neither did I! as always to Glenn-- the "Milit?r-Musiker Almanach f?r das Deutsche Reich" edition of 1899--First name, musical specialties, awards (IX Years Service Brooch and 1897 Centenary Medal) and home address. Les
Rick....I'm floored. Usually enlisted men are really hard to locate. I never thought there was an almanach for musicians! Grazie!!Les
