Kev in Deva
One of the two badges with the similar screw-back fixing nuts, has had the screw-posts bent at some stage,I am not sure if I want to attempt to straighten it for fear of damaging it.Kevin in Deva

Kev in Deva
Hello This insigna was used by officers ? Thanks for your help. The insignia was worn by all in the tank crew, the personnel doing the training, once they had passed the relevant examinations. Kevin in Deva. Greg Collins
Kevin, I believe those are R.S.R. (post 1965). The lower banner on the seal appears to read "Romania" instead of "RPR". The RPR design was, basically, a copy of the Soviet design of the time (as was the Hungarian, to name another: twin tanks flanking a central shield). After '65, the badge was redesigned to the examples here. Greg
Kev in Deva
Greg you are absolutely right, well caught, I never realised I had typed RPR instead of RSR I will correct it immediately. Thanks.
