tynesideirish Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Graham, many thanks. It's great to see some NF related ephemera. You often see all but the rarest of badges but there's something special about that old bit of paper or card that survives when most if not all others are long discarded. Here's my sole bit of NF related paperwork. An unused card from WO's & Sgts 43rd (Northumberland) Royal Tank Regiment 6th City Bn. Royal Northumberland Fusiliers St. Georges Drill Hall Newcastle upon Tyne. Undated but pre 1952.
Graham Stewart Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Thanks for that TI and I'm sure you'll appreciate whats to follow. Generally regarded as "crap" by the badge purists more regimental Xmas Cards;-2nd Bn Xmas 1908 - My earliest regimental greeting card. And the inside.
Graham Stewart Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Another hand painted card - same period.
Graham Stewart Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 2nd Bn - Xmas 1940 - with the retreat to Dunkirk.
