Snoopy
HelloI would like to show you a couple of my models. The first one is 1:48 scale, and made from the Academy kit. It's a model of the Czechoslovakian Avia S-99. The aircraft was based on the fuselage of the Messerschmidt Bf 109 G-14. The fuselage was mated with the Jumo 211 F engine. This resulted in an aircraft that handled so badly, that it acquired the nickname "mule".Snoopy Edited February 29, 2008 by Snoopy

Snoopy
The next one, is a model of the Fieseler Storch Fi 156 C-1. It's in 1:72 scale, and made from a Heller kit. The ski under carriage, ski rack under the fuselage and tank, is scratch built. The original aircraft operated in Norway in 1940. It was flown on a mission, along the norwegian/swedish border, and landed by a mistake, on the frozen swedish lake Katterjaure. The aircraft was painted in winther camouflage, with no national markings. The only markings was the letter codes under the wing.
