Sivart
Found this the other day but I don't know what that last ribbon is. I am just learning the ribbons, so bear with me. #1, Hindenburg Cross WW1, #2 maybe the lifesaving medal???? #3 no idea. The whole thing is dirty and kind of smashed, but it and the second one pictured were free, so no complaints!
Schießplatzmeister
Hello Sivart:The brown ribbon with white stripes on the first lapel ribbon group is for a Third Reich NSDAP Service Award 1st Class (lowest class) in Bronze.Best regards,"SPM"
Guest Rick Research
I can't tell from the small blurry scan, but I THINK you are correct and the middle ribbon is the Lifesaving Medal. That would be its correct place after 1935. Sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between the LSM and the Westwall-- especially in a scan like this-- but the LSM shades between a tawny orange-ish to a golden yellow, while the WWM is always a very light "toast" brown. You should get more of the clean unfaded ribbon if you look in towards the center where it's protected. Here are some olllllllld (all I have instantly to hand) scans showing comparisons side by side. In each of these, from top to bottom the ribbons aligned are LSM, WWM, LSM, WWM, and rust/dried blood of the WW1 Turkish War Medal on bottoms:
