italianpolitic Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Hi Gnentlemen,I've this badge & I think it's albanian, but I don't know what is.Can you help me?I think it is german made. I've other albanian badge, but I find in the forum and now I know what are. Thanks, Bruno
Belaruski Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 I think it's certainly Albanian, for some kind of Activist in the something of Socialism..Nice quality piece too.
Eric Schena Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Definitely Albanian and definitely of quality manufacture (I suspect it's from Pr?wema). I believe the inscription reads: "Distinguished Activist for the Building of Socialism", though I will gladly defer to our Albanian friends here.Nice badge!
italianpolitic Posted March 24, 2008 Author Posted March 24, 2008 Hi, what do you think about it?. I think it's a youth badge (the red handkerchief), like other communist youth badge.Bruno
Eric Schena Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Not sure if it a youth badge or not - there's no indication that it was awarded by the BPRSH (the socialist youth league), but that doesn't mean it isn't. These badges are still mysterious and not well documented.
albania Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 hello!yes the translation of eric is right, but the word aktiviste is feminine case (albanian language has gender) and shows that it was awarded to women for building socialism. young women? why not.
