France Order of Nichan Iftikhar

I'm not sure this is the proper spot for this question but since it is a French colonial order here we go. Does anyone know of a website or publication that would clarify which Bey the arabic lettering in the center of the order indicates.

You may have to register though to be able to consult it ? Not too sure about that...

They are quite different indeed, but some French manufacturers seem to have use a great deal of "artistic license" with the sole aim to confuse collectors !

I just registered on the French forum. I have known about it for awhile but my french is so miserable I have hesitated to get on. I have only recently started to collect French ODMs but have been a lifelong collector of British and US medals. I have started on French medals so as to keep my collecting interest up and to keep learning so the old brain doesn't stagnate. I only have one Nichan Iftikar and I'm sure it is of no great consequence.
