Terrific former NCO's bar. Too bad there is no bar on the Colonial Medal to narrow things down as far as suspects go.

Unless the catch is broken on back, the pin should not be under that long vertical "spike." We've never been able to figure out exactly why some bars have those-- presumably as an extra fastening security measure to distribute the weight better.

pin is not broken just undone! I know only seen a few bars with this extra pin on it ! I guess like a safety catch
