Ben
Hi guys, just wanted to post my latest catch, a very nice Nickel right facing Heer buckle. No makers mark but a nice and rare bird to have, I have a new cache of buckles coming soon, some real pearlers, I will post them when they arrive

lach470
Cool buckle! Not often seen - let alone with the two solder points instead of the four pins. Great score! Looking forward to seeing the other goodies you have coming your way!Cheers!Rob
--dj--Joe
Congratulations. Missing from and probably will remain so, from my collection. Sure nice to see.--dj--Joe
lach470
Thought I'd share my two right facing birdies.....first up is one made by Gr??e aus Essen - you can tell be the "squished" head!
lach470
the back....
lach470
Next one is a pretty rare bird indeed....it's the 40mm type. Hartmann made perhaps? Not sure - unmarked.
lach470
Can't find a pic of the back of that one! (????) Here's a shot of the two buckles together. You can see how the Gr??e buckle is reg. size and the other is just a wee bit smaller.

lach470
If I recall correctly - it was on WAF...I had no idea who the maker was and that maker seemed to get the nod. I will try to find the thread...Cheers!Rob
Ben
Thanks mate, I thought these were early RS&S
lach470
I'm still looking Ben....I was sure it was on WAF but it might have been another forum. I say that because I wouldn't have ever clued in that it would have been from that maker. I think the 40mm is from Overhoff..at least the prongs make it look that way. If I get any more info - like the link where I got this manufacturer from - I'll post it!Cheers!Rob
