Guest Rick Research Posted June 21, 2008 Share Posted June 21, 2008 What's the back look like?VERY odd--a 1915/17 Austro-Hungarian Bronze Bravery Medal of Emperor Franz Joseph, an Austro-Hungarian Military Jubiolee Medal 1898 (on active duty on the anniversary date in December-- so with nothing else was probably a draftee 1896/97-1899/1900,an unofficial WW1 medal from Vienna, I think-- war help relatedsomething Vatican, from Pope Leo XIII (reverse might help)? a religious medal but I can't read what it says.Austrians normally wore tiny trifolds with minis--or on a chain.
