Hi Greg,

The Medal is for the 25 aniversary of the 117 Batallion National Militia, a military force composed of ordinary citizens to provide defense, emergency law enforcement and paramilitary service

The medal below is for the same batallion only it's the 20th aniversary example with doc.

It shows the Movimiento Revolucionario Nacionalista (MNR-Nationalist Revolutionary Movement) emblem on the obverse
