Kev in Deva Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 (edited) Hallo Alexandre, A look through the Italian section of the forum would have led you to this:-http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?s=&showtop...st&p=112153Your medal is the:- Italian 1915 - 1918 Victory Medal, title not to be confused with the Italian Inter-Allied Victory Medal for WW1. Hendrik Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Your medal is the:- Italian 1915 - 1918 Victory Medal,Hi Gents,To avoid confusion, I suggest calling it the Italian 1915-1918 War Commemorative Medal Cheers,Hendrik
Elmar Lang Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Hello,it's exactly the 1915-18 War Commemorative Medal. Each medal should be completed with the bronze ribbon bars, corresponding to the campaign years. The inscription on the reverse "CONIATA NEL BRONZO NEMICO" means that the medal would have been struck with the bronze of captured enemy cannons.Best wishes,Enzo
