Hi Eric, there is no story, just a firm with an English name making badges in Germany before the war, in Oberstein. They are normally encountered on the back of the 1st Mai rally badge they made in 1937.

Yes quite a common maker also on the Seefahrt badge.

It always amuses me to see this maker as its my name.
