I got this picture and what I can see... "Marine Flieg..."

Was this soldier from Navy Aircorps then?

Don't know what happends with the pictures after reducing the size. Quality went down a lot ... have to get epson scanner, I know.

What does the OTHER guy's hat say, which shows the missing word-- I still can't read it.

And with my VERY limited magic skills, I can ALMOST tell what the Petty Officer's sleeve rating is-- which would reveal if he was a flyer or ground support.

christ would you believe i owned this for about 6 years and thought navy and nothing more!then within 2 seconds of seeing (after i gave it to noor that is of course!!) he goes oh there navy pilots!! how miffed was i!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :beer:
