All I know is that it was created in 1974, and there seem to be a variety of Merit Medals for the various uniformed services.
Guest Rick Research Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 The "sparkly" contrast between matte and shiny finishes on Bulgarian medals cannot be appreciated from static scans-- they need motion and real light reflecting to do them justice for brilliant design.
