Agreed. I have seen precious few miniatures on ribbon bars of these medals themselves.

For some reason, it is usually the Sudeten medal that turns up as a never authorized device for these medals. This is a Naughty Period Violation.

This one also appears to be an exceptionally nice strike/finish as well.
