RNLSGC
I am hoping that one of the forum members may be able to tell me if these buckles are correct. What little I know is that the bottom right is Army, top left and top right are NSDAP, bottom left Fire Dept? and the top center is Hitler Youth? Thanks much

lach470
Sorry for the late reply.....The top right hand side buckle (SA) is a reproduction and I'm pretty sure the army is a repro as well. The other SA - still on the fence. My concern with that one is the belt hook - but there were a lot of different SA buckle makers including smaller cottage type industries. The HJ buckle is a late war model and it's good as is the fireman's buckle.Hope that is what you were looking for!Cheers!Rob
Ben
The JFS looks original, do you have better pics?
lach470
Hey Ben.....I thought the JFS buckles had a "brownish" type of prong assembly....that was what got me thinking it was a repro.....yes? No? You would know man - you're the army buckle pro!Rob
Ben
Hey Rob, the late war grey buckles did mostly have the brown painted prongs but this one is an earlier one, look at the green paint on the prongs :)
lach470
Cool Ben....Thanks for that info....I didn't know the Brownish colour was attributed to the late war JFS. Good to know! Thanks mucker! Rob
