EK 1939 non-Souval EK frames with the flaw and

Hello,

I have a question I'm really curious about... Has anyone ever encountered a non-Souval frame on an umarked EK 1 which also has the flaw on the top left beaded area and the ridge on the outer corners? Or does the presence of the flaw and ridge indicate beyond doubt that it is a Souval frame? Thank you.
