medalnet Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Does anybody know what this is? Possible value?
Garth Thompson Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Looks to be a US Navy full dress cocked hat and full dress shoulder boards for a Medical Lt. Commander. This type of uniform is no longer used. I'm not sure of the date but I believe these items were not used after WW2. The value would be between $200 - $300.
medalnet Posted January 16, 2009 Author Posted January 16, 2009 Garh, thanks for the info. It is for sale in an antique shop in Greensboro, NC, for 350 US $Andreas
Guest Rick Research Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I'm amazed they are not in the usual black tin named storage case. From the apparently immaculate condition, the case must just have been thrown away very very recently.
