Guest Rick Research
Well, the Saxon horror has an Austro-Hungarian Iron Merit Cross on the never awarded "peacetime" red ribbon and its ribbons are obviously new synthetics. Some things can be coaught by a scan, and other things only in-the-hand-- especially with bad scans. That poor ratty bar is original with an 1848-49 campaign Medal stuck on in place of a 1914 iron Cross but is in such bad condition why WOULD you want it?Full dress medal bars should be immaculate and CLEAN. They were not worn in the trenches. Only rarity or a personal identification mitigates against bad condition. Don't buy... poor condition items that are unidentifiable and common.
