Fariz Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Would appreciate some opinions on this EK1 and EK2. Apologies for bad the photos. The EK1 is unmarked and of 3 piece construction. It has the features of a Sovual, With a flaw to the upper left and extended ridges. I'm not sure if it as a dipping 3. Assuming it a pre 1945 piece, could this be Orth with a Sovual frame? The EK2 is also unmarked and was bought some years back, assuming it's an original piece; would it be possible to determine the maker? Thank you, Fariz
ogfm Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 IMO both crosses are original. The EK1 is a Souval and the EK2 could be a cross made by the maker 25.King Regards,Oliver
Fariz Posted February 23, 2009 Author Posted February 23, 2009 Thanks Oliver. Appreciate your help.I'm confused about the swastika. Is it a slim or fat swastika?Regards,Fariz
ogfm Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Hi Fariz,the Souval EK1 has a bigger (fatter) swasi, the EK2 i would say has a standart.King Regards,Oliver
